Will eBay buy it's revenue back?

Techcrunch recently posted this about Etsy.

it is showing this remarkable graph about Etsy growth.

Who are the losers? I guess it's eBay .
Etsy simply supply superior User experience which is much simpler both for buyer and seller.

Now, the eBay dinosaurs have 2 ways to act. Either by putting full power on competing  Etsy and slowly get the sellers back. Or by acquiring Etsy and get the traffic back home.

Unless eBay is still asleep, let me guess the later option will be the most natural to happen.

Let's see. In the meanwhile Alona's business is growing with the traffic :-)
