No, its not a bar.
Not a place to hang around or maybe it is during the cold winter and the lack of sailing days.
Sailogs.com
Fun gathering of few sailors who gathered to write about professional sailing, windsurfing, high-end catamarans, etc...
some pics from these blogs:
Some other blogs I'm currently following:
The Delivery Guy
John is an experienced sailor, delivering yachts from South Africa to many destinations around the globe.
He is funny writing and I actually find myself smiling to the laptop screen while reading posts.
Both from joy and jealousy.
He is now documenting voyage from SA to the caribians on Moorings 46'.
John is also experienced Radio fan, so you can really follow his Radio signature during his trips on the globe.
Open50Nanuq
Nanuq is an Open 50 old racing boat belong to Troy.
Troy is now relocation with his family from San Francisco to Brazil and preparing the boat for the relocation.
Boat preperation is a very techish stage and you can really learn a lot about equipment and equipping boats from bloggers at this stage.
I really hope Troy will continue writing during the voyage as it should be interesting to follow an "around Cape Horn" voyage.
a blog I bumped into since it carries our rating widget.
Its simply remind me from time to time why bother with all this startup thing :).
